S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Degraded primary and secondary wet evergreen broad-leaved forest (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) along mountain river valley at elev. about 1100-1150 m on sandstone. Terrestrial creeping herb in open river slope. Flowers white with dirty violet marks, fruits purple-violet. Very common. Common dominant of secondary wet short tall grasslands.
