FLORA OF VIETNAM Zingiberaceae S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Degraded primary and secondary wet evergreen broad-leaved forest (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) along mountain river valley at elev. about 1100-1150 m on sandstone. Terrestrial herb up to 1 m hg in shady place along river slope. Flowers white with red-purple spot at the base of tepals. Common.
