S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Primary broad-leaved and mixed (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) evergreen dry mountain forest at elev. about 1100-1200 m on sandstone. Shrublet about 1 m hg in open place along forest road. Flowers white. Not rare.
