S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14°39′N, 108°25′E). Secondary open shrubs along streamlet at elev. 1000 m. Flowers and inflorescence pink-violet. Herb up to 1 m hg. Not rare.
