Scandent treelet about 6 m tall along humid shady rocky stream canyon. Fruits black, juicy. Rare.

Tree about 10-12 m tall, d without buttresses 70 cm, cut ngon, rong ruot tram trong. Left in the center of heavily logged forest, replaced subsequently by grassland with scattered shrubs.
