According to Tran Duy Quy (Institute of agricultural genetics) plant bought from Gia Lai prov. in cultivation as ornamental treelet, cultivated in private garden in Hanoi.

Shrub, 3-4 m tall. Seed coats are green and receptacle from green to dark brown when many seeds germinate directly on tree.
