at elev. 1200 m. Terrestrial and occasionally epilitic herb at base of
old trees in wet mossy shady places. Locally common. Central sepal
light green with olive-brownish base, petals light pink-violet with
green base and deep brown spots and warts along upper margin,
sometimes with indistinct brownish stripes toward base. Lip dull
pinkish-violet with green base and green margin. Synsepalum light
apple green. Staminode emerald green with yellowish-white margin and
central spot.
