400-550 m a.s.l. Lithophyte herb in crevices of shady deeply eroded
rocks in middle part of ridge slope. Leaves glossy deep green - light
green tessellated above, purple-violet spotted below. Flowers: median
sepal and synsepal white with pink tint, lateral petals pale
pink-purple, lip white with deep purple stripes and longitudinal
spots, staminode white, at apex light yellow-greenish. Very rare due
to total overcollecting (in the past locally common).
