Terrestrial and epilite herb. Common. Flowers: sepals and petals yellow inside with purple-brown tint outside; lip yellow with purple spots, sidelobes with purple strips, epichile on margin with large purple blotches; column yellow with small numerous purple marks; anther yellow.
