Ephemeroid herb with tuber about 0.3 x 0.2 m and 5-6 kg. Inflorescence up to 2 m high, dark violet. Spathe inside dark violet (nearly black) with yellowish-green spots. Rare.

Brownish-yellow saprophyte with inflorescence up to 1.5 m hogh. On shadow slopes of stream canyon. Not too rare. Sepals light yellow with small grey marks, petals light yellow with 3 violet stripes, hypochile light violet, mesochile and epichile light brown with light yellow spots on margins. Column light yellow.
