Unusual plant, which differs from known species in dwarf habit, simple ovate or inequally-deltoid undissected lamina and exindusiate sori placed in one row parallel to the lamina margin. Curiously resembles juvenile plantlets of C. hemionitis, with which in locus classicus grows together.
